Friday night confesions (on Thursday)

Carrying on from Tiff over at Three Ring Circus I am here, on Thursday, to make a confession.

Deep breath.

When I go to bookstores I hide the crappy parenting books. The ones that in my opinion are child abuse. (The kind of books that I won't mention as I don't want to give them even the slightest bot of acknowledgement.) I will put them under the shelves at the bottom, kick them under. Take a few for a walk over to the fishing or mechanics section, and put them behind bigger books.

Then, the awesome pregnancy and parenting books such as Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering anything by Pinky McKay and of course Ina May, these books I take out and arrange a few on the shelves facing me, so other will see them standing out.

So there, it's out.

Now tell me yours.

I accidently called my husband by the dog's name tonight and then tried to cover it up by isisting I was talking about the sausages he was cooking.

I do the same thing with the books lol And if I'm in vinnies and I see books with dangerous practices I either buy them, or tell the staff that the books need to be taken off the shelf. I saw some E*zzo books once, that was very frightening :( the staff were horrified to realise that they're illegal in Australia and removed them quicly.

Keep it up! One baby at a time :D

LOL I do that as well-

but not just with parenting / birthing books- I have been known to rearrange library shelves as well.
